32 years in the making, Fixed Up is the story of one man's journey from a geeky, awkward shy teenager in Cape Town - to a geeky, shy, awkward adult in Oxford. Issues 1 and 2 of Fixed Up will be on sale, plus the brand-new Issue 3!
Fixed Up is written and illustrated by Ian Norris.

'For a while, my life was pretty simple, everything was good and I was happy...then I turned twelve, got a girlfriend, and got miserable.' Fixed Up is that story.

Fixed Up is the story of one man's journey from a geeky, awkward, Jewish, shy teenager in Cape Town - to a geeky, awkward, Jewish, shy adult in Oxford. It's inspired by the work of Joe Matt (Peep Show), Seth, and Craig Thompson (Blankets). It's about a young Jewish South African finding his way in the world and getting screwed-over time-and-time-again by the loves of his life.

Currently there are two issues of Fixed Up in print, with issue 3 hot on its heels. Both issues have been on sale in comic book stores across the UK and South Africa. I plan to have 8 issues in total, which will then be compiled into a graphic novel. Each issue is 24 pages long, and full-colour.

Issues 1 and 2 will be on sale at the BCExpo, as well as the brand-new issue 3 and a few other surprise goodies...

Ian Norris was born in Cape Town, South Africa in the 80s. He's been living in England for the last 5 years, designing books and making comics.
